SHARONDA SHEPPARD'S BETWEEN FRIENDS PROGRESS ENERGY CENTER RALEIGH MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM RALEIGH, NC APRIL 4, 2008
|
(April 6) In an industry where it is predominantly
male, North Carolina born Sharonda Sheppard is
standing out front.
Featuring an outstanding cast with various
backgrounds included stars Tamika Scott (Xscape,
Meet the Browns), Terrell Carter (Meet the Browns)
and Terrance Cotton (A Good Man is Hard to
Find), Between Friends was a tale of love,
forgiveness and everything in between intertwined
with soul and original Gospel melodies..
Hundreds filled the Progress Energy Memorial
Auditorium in Raleigh, NC and they all came out for
different reasons. For audience members Angela,
Jeanelle and Gigi, it was their very own Girls' Night
Out. In Allen and Rhonda's case, they were invited.
I asked the opinion of the play attendees during the
intermission and what they like the most. Here are a
few of the responses:
I really like the show. The Gospel music is my
favorite part.
There's a lot going on. I hope they tie things up in
the second part.
This is the first play I've gone to and I'm really
enjoying it.
Very entertaining. A great way to spend a rainy
Friday evening.
Thank you Sharonda and the Between Friends
cast! I hope we cross paths again!
