RELEASES MEMOIR
By Crystal Myrick
(August 28) In 1986, the Hip Hop world met the fiery female duo, Salt N Pepa and are
revered as legends in the music game with megahits like Push It, Whatta Man, Shoop
and Let's Talk About Sex. This time, one half of the duo, Sandy Denton, best known to
her fans as Pepa exposes herself in Let's Talk About Pep.
In her literary debut, Denton starts from the beginning when she unveils secrets about
her troublesome childhood, her breakup with Cheryl "Salt" James and their reunion,
surviving abuse and her taste of reality television.
Written with New York Times Best-Selling author Karen Hunter, Denton tells her story
with no holds barred and also includes an introduction from rapper turned Covergirl
Queen Latifah and an epilogue from multi-platinum selling artist Missy Elliott.
In conjunction with the release of her memoir, she also launched her own social
networking site, www.LetsTalkAboutPep.com, a site dedicated to old school Hip Hop
fans who wish to discuss various topics and stay in the loop about the latest
happenings.
Let's Talk About Pep is available now online and in stores.
