BLACK SPOTLIGHT INTERVIEW DA POET TIM JACKSON cont...
Since becoming a father, Jackson said it changed his perception of life and it was when
he had a daughter, he gained a whole new respect for women. As a former skirt-chaser,
he hopes to “create an energy around his daughter” where she doesn’t run into the man
that he use to be but the man he is now. He went on to say while his child was in eyesight
of him that he hopes to instill in his children the life lesson of keeping the faith regardless
of the obstacles you may face.
While Googling his name on the Net, BSL located a past interview he did about three
years ago with Tribes Magazine where he put it out there that he was the perfect man.
BSL had to have him explain this.
"You know how ya’ll are. (laughs) I love the ladies but you know how the conversations are
when women are saying what is wrong with men? I feel I could say the exact same things
about women! Once you go through all the lies being told and the games being played
and you break up with them, you look back and think they really weren’t worth your time in
the first place. You walk away bitter and frustrated."
He continues.
"I got to that place one day where I realized that I’m all right. I’m a good guy. I don’t care if
she doesn’t want me. God has blessed me and he’s taking care of me. I take responsible
for my mistakes and if I see errors in myself, I correct them so if I’m ever in that situation
again, I can do better next time. What can I say? I’m perfect."
Destined to get his name and works known across the masses, he is in the beginning
stages of building Soul Redemption Ink Publishing. He hopes with the growth of his brand
that he is also able to assist other artists in fulfilling their dreams as well.
Da Poet Tim Jackson is an educated and employed young man with the passion to help
