This is gonna be a headbanger! This is the role that I had to lose 50 pounds for. It was a
different look for me. I play a character named Sam Tran, one of the four Buffalo soldiers
which were the African American soldiers in World War II, who get caught behind the
German-Nazi line. We have to try to make our way back to our company but yet at the same
time, we are confronted with the reality that we are treated as less than men when we are
with the American army but we are treated with love and respect in the Italian villages. It is
really a racial study on stereotypes. You will see a lot of parallels on where our race was at
that time and where we are as a people today. It's a very interesting piece.

I also noticed that you are directing, writing, producing and starring in your own
film, Gordon Glass. Definitely keeping busy. How did this story come about?
Gordon Glass is a film about achieving your goals and about how the power of positivity can
help you get to that point. I did this all with my family. I am the youngest of 7 children so I got
everyone involved. It's a real family affair. So far, the response from the film has been great.
We showed it at the Pan Africa Film Festival and the America Black Film Festival. We are in
the process of getting distribution right now so we can get it out to everyone. In the
meantime, you can watch the trailer at www.gordonglassthemovie.com. It will keep you
updated on release dates so you know when to look for it.
So, what’s next?
Right now, I am just resting and recuperating from the big gig. I have a film coming out in
October called The Express, which is about the first man to win the Heisman trophy. It
comes out during football season. I'm doing some more writing. I also just launched a
women's online magazine at www.pinkscoop.com. It's a modern girl's guide to living. All the
latest fashion, celebrity interviews, photos and insider info. I'm trying to diversify so hopefully,
you can check that out as well.
