BILL COSBY SET TO
RELEASE HIP HOP ALBUM

From the pudding pop to hip hop
Bill Cosby (Wikipedia)
(April 16) Actor Bill Cosby is behind the mic once again but this time, it is not for comedic
purposes but for a rap album.

So, should platinum-selling artists like Kanye West and 50 Cent be shaking in their boots? Not
exactly because the comedian says he will not actually rap on the album's tracks because of
the music genre's negativity.

Titled
Cosby's Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency, the 70-year star will ditch the rap beats
but instead speak over a soundtrack of pop and jazz.

Cosby, the same man responsible for the stereotyped characters in the cartoon,
Fat Albert,
has been receiving a lot of criticism in the last few years for his take-no- prisoners approach to
the way he views today's Black culture and youth.

Cosby's Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency is slated for release next month.
