Fishburne claims the #1 movie
again this week

(April 7) Those wanting to be master craftsmen in casinos must be flocking to theaters
because 21 is #1 for the second week in a row. Starring Academy Award nominee
Laurence Fishburne, the based on a true story film rolled in $15.1M this weekend for a
grand total of $45.5M.
Leatherheads, the football flick which was partially filmed in North Carolina came in second
place with $13.5M in its opening weekend while fantasy film, Nim's Island came in an
extremely close third place with $13.3M.
Horton Hears A Who! is still bringing in the loot and came in at #4 with $9.1M, grossing
$131M.
In its opening weekend, The Ruins rounded out the top five with $7.84M and comic book
parody, Superhero Movie came in 6th place with $5.41M, grossing $16.9M.
Tyler Perry's fifth film release, Meet the Browns has stumbled into the #7 slot with $3.51M,
grossing $37.8M in under a month.
Drillbit Taylor has fallen into the 8th slot with $3.5M ($25.6M gross) and thrilling film,
Shutter took in $2.8M ($23.2M gross) and the #9 spot.
Prehistoric epic, 10,000 B.C. completed the top 10 with $2.79M this weekend, totaling
$89.3 since its March 7th release.
