(February 12) Possibly one of the most anticipated comedies of the year, Martin Lawrence fans
came in great numbers to check out his latest film, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.
The family comedy, which also starred other Hollywood stars and starlets Cedric the Entertainer,
Monique, James Earl Jones, Joy Bryant, Mike Epps and a host of others, brought in a solid
$16.2 million and secured the number two spot in the Box Office.
In the number one, it was the Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson romantic comedy, Fool's
Gold that snatched the number one spot with $21.6 million.
The kid favorite Hannah Montana- Best of Both Worlds came in a close third under Welcome
Home with 10.3 million but grossing a total of $53.2 since its release last week.
For those that haven't gotten enough of the hilarious Martin Lawrence, he will appear alongside
Disney favorite Raven Symone in College Road Trip set to release March 7.
