(February 24) This weekend's debuts were shattered all over the box office.

The drama-thriller
Vantage Point starring Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, Dennis
Quaid and Matthew Fox debuted at number one with $24 million.

Last week's number one film in the country,
Jumper brought in $12.7M with a total of $56.2M
and dropped to number two.

Almost making it to the number two but have to settle for number three,
The Spiderwick
Chronicles
made $12.6M for a gross of $43.6M.

Step Up 2 dropped two slots to number four with $9.79M. Securing slot number five, Fool's
Gold
takes in $6.27M while Definitely, Maybe brought in $5.18M.

One of this weekend's debuts,
Be Kind Rewind starring Mos Def, Jack Black and Danny
Glover came in at number seven with $4.1M and so did the Oscar-nominated film,
Juno,
whose gross is $130M.

Martin Lawrence is still hanging in there with
Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins bringing in
$3.99M ($35.5M gross) and
There Will Be Blood, another Oscar nominee rounded out the
top ten with $2.56M this weekend for a total of $35M.
