Iron Man (Paramount) Prince Caspian (Walt Disney)
(May 18) After a two week reign at the top of the Box Office, children's tale turned major
motion picture Prince Caspian dethroned Iron Man and brought in $56.6M. But Iron Man
which stars Robert Downey Jr and Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard has
absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, coming in at an impressive #2 with $31.2M and a
gross of $222M domestically, $387 worldwide in three weeks!
Coming in at #3, What Happens in Vegas stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz and
together their star power mustered $13.8M, grossing $40.3M. The reborn 80s childhood
favorite, Speed Racer took the #4 spot and $7.64M (gross: $29.8M). Rounding out the top
five was Baby Mama with $4.59M (gross: $47.3M)
