BRANDY INKS DEAL WITH
EPIC RECORDS
Will she make a strong
comeback?
By Crystal Myrick
(April 12) Within the last four years, R&B singer/actress Brandy Norwood has
gone through much turmoil. Due to low album sales from her last release,
Afrodisiac, she was dismissed from her home record company, Atlantic Records.
In 2006, she had an unfortunate automobile accident that caused a chain reaction
and the death of an innocent woman. And let's not begin to talk about her sextape
making younger brother, Ray J.
But, it looks like things are beginning to look up for the Have You Ever singer.
Just recently, Norwood, 29, became the latest artist signed to Epic Records. Her
fifth studio release (excluding her Best of Brandy compilation) is slated for later
this year.
