(March 16) Hailing from the Sunshine state, Flo Rida has commenced to doing something that
a lot of artists are shining a green eye at.
In a time where album sales are not what they use to be because of the rapidly growing pace
of digital downloads, Flo Rida has reached multi-platinum status in ringtones with his club
banging hit, Low. Over three million ringtones sold to be exact.
Low, which was featured on the soundtrack for the dance flick, Step Up 2, has held a spot on
the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs (25 weeks), Billboard 200 (20 weeks) and Billboard
Pop 100 (19 weeks), which is currently at #1.
His second single, Elevator from his upcoming album, Mail on Sunday is getting much
radioplay and is steadliy climbing up the charts, already at #16 on the Billboard 200.
