ICE CUBE SET TO DO
ONLINE CONCERT
AND NEW ALBUM

The West-coast rapper/actor breaks
traditional standards and performs for
fans over the Net
(March 14) Revered as one of rap's first Godfathers, Ice Cube will give his fans a live
performance over the Internet tomorrow night (2/15) at 9PM EST.

The concert will be streaming live on UVNTV.com, a social networking site governed by
both the West coast rapper and DJ Pooh and will take place in Austin, TX for the South By
Southwest Festival. Technology giant Microsoft will be assisting with the online viewing of
the free show with Silverlight, their newest venture.

Born O'Shea Jackson, he debuted as one of the founding members of the pioneer rap
group, N.W.A. Since the group's break-up, Ice Cube has reached critical acclaim in and
outside of the music industry by appearing and starring in several films. With seven albums
already in his resume, he is returning to his first love of rhythms and rhymes with his next
album,
Raw Footage. The album is being described as a more political album along the
lines of one of his earlier albums,
AmeriKKK's Most Wanted. The album's first single and
video,
Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It has a meaning in itself.

One of Hollywood's newest talents, Ice Cube has appeared in some of the most
memorable films in Black Entertainment, such as
Boyz n Da Hood, Higher Learning,
Friday, Barbershop, Are We There Yet and in the upcoming summer flick, Comeback. He
is also rumored to reprise the role of Sgt. Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus in The A-Team, expected
to be released 2010.
