(April 27) On the first go-round, she told us her Lip Gloss was poppin and then
she taught us how to G-Slide. Now Lil Mama is hitting the shelves with her debut
album, Voice of the Young People.
Not to be confused with some type of bubble gum pop, Lil Mama stands in the
forefront when it comes to today's female emcees. Her album consists of a large
array of tracks, ranging from the mainstream successful hit Lip Gloss to the
heartfelt track L.I.F.E.
Her latest single, Shawty Get Loose features labelmates Chris Brown and
T-Pain, is steadily moving up the charts. Producers Dr. Luke, Cool & Dre, Swizz
Beatz and Scott Storch lent their producing skills on the album.
