(March 27) Comedic actor Martin Lawrence has been extremely busy this year.
With two films released in theaters within the first quarter of the year grossing $78.2M and
growing, the Bad Boys actor returns to the Stars for a third installment of his comedy series,
Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-Up.
Executive produced by the legendary funnyman, the show will be taped live in front of an
audience on April 3rd- 5th at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, DC. Returning to host the event
will be comedian Doug Williams and to serve as ambassador of music will be DJ Biz Markie.
Comedians tentatively scheduled to make em laugh includes, Bruce Bruce, Rickey Smiley, Joe
Clair, Lavell Crawford, Don DC Curry, Shang, Joe Torry, Roz G, Luenell, Gary Owen, Rod Man,
Kim Whitley and others.
The laughs hit the small screen on Starz Entertainment on Friday, July 9th at 10pm EST.
