Texan entrepreneur becomes the new Miss USA

Stewart obtained a Consumer Science and Merchandising degree from the University of
Houston.

The star-studded judge panel for the event were actors Rob Schneider, Kristian Alphonso
and Kelly Carlson; former N'Sync-erJoey Fatone; Heather Mills, Olympic Gold Medal winning
swimmer Amanda Beard; fashion stylist Christian Siriano; NFL star Shawne "Lights Out"
Merriman; hairstylist Ken Paves; Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl and journalist
George Wayne.

Stewart's prize package includes:

(April 12) Millions at home watched as Texas native Crystle Stewart triumphed over 50 other
girls to become the 2008 Miss USA. Stewart is only the sixth African American in the
pageant's 57 year history to win the crown.

The 26-year old entrepreneur who owns and runs Inside/Out, a party planning and
motivational speaking company stated that she wants to dedicate her life to international
philanthropy.
