The Doggfather's new album hits stores
today

(March 11) The Long Beach rapper who has been known for his repeated run-ins with the law
in this country and abroad releases his ninth career album.
His album, Ego-Trippin, which consists of a different sound for the legendary rapper which
was proven when he released the first track, Sexual Eruption, a smoother beat with Snoop
donning the hottest 70s gear in the music video. Mega-producers Teddy Riley, Pharrell and
others were enlisted for their skills on the 21-track album.
Born Calvin Broadus, the multi-platinum artist appeared along with his family in his own reality
show Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood on the E! network, where television viewers enjoyed
watching the rapper attempted to treat soccer player Adonis, David Beckham to a meal at
Roscoe's Chicken N Waffles. Prior to his reality show, he starred in his own sketch comedy on
MTV, Doggy Fizzle Televizzle and several films such as Baby Boy, Bones, Boss'n Up,
Starsky & Hutch and Soul Plane.
Snoop Dogg also runs his own youth football league.
