Tameka Foster and his leap into fatherhood, Usher Raymond signals his return to music
with an instant chart-topper. In three weeks, his new track, Love in This Club catapults up
the Billboard Hot 100 chart from #51 to #1, dethroning artist Flo Rida's 10-week reign in
the #1 spot.
The Atlanta native's new single, which also features rapper Young Jeezy and produced by
Polow Da Don, will be on his fifth album release, Here I Stand, due out in June under
Laface Records/Zomba Label Group.
Usher changed the momentum of R&B in 2004 with his release of his 9X-platinum and
Grammy Award winning album, Confessions. Last year, he teamed with the Pied Piper of
R&B, R. Kelly for the love triangle hit, Same Girl.
Raymond also supports Democratic Presidential hopeful, Sen. Barack Obama.
